| Here is the latest news from our PR Officer: Welcome to term 1 - 2010 Christmas has come and gone and your club management welcomes members into the New Year and therefore advises that the Clarence Valley Senior Computer Club will open its doors on Monday January 18, 2010. The New Year marks the start of Term One which is offering three group lessons per day, Monday through to Friday, until the term closes on Friday March 6, 2010. A term runs for 7 weeks and the club operates on 6 terms in a full working calendar year. Check the website for more details. Members who did not register their names last year to start term one, are advised to act quickly to get their names on the board and into group lessons, when the club opens on Monday January 18. Members can activate a copy of the Term One schedule from the club's website or just call into the club and obtain a copy from the front office. Margaret Marjoram will be back in 2010, together with Christine Ryan; both girls are looking forward to catching up with members again. The club welcomes Sharmell Denham, who is a new leader for 2010. Sharmell has joined the club as a "Honorary Leader" , in other words she is not a senior, but is looking forward to sharing her time and computer skills to help club members. Your club gives thanks to all leaders, who have given so much of their valuable time and effort to the club. 2010 will kick start with a full team of leaders and club members are urged to show their support by registering early. Term one certainly looks exciting, offering members a wide variety of computer lessons to cater for most members needs. Remember the Clarence Valley Senior Computer Club is your club, and by working together we can all make our club a happy place to meet, greet and learn.
