MACLEAN - The wee Scottish Town in Australia is a rural township nestled along the banks and hills of the beautiful Clarence River, on the North Coast of New South Wales. The town hosts the popular Maclean Highland Gathering held annually over the Easter weekend. Maclean is only a short 15 minute drive away from the popular beach resorts of Yamba and Angourie. You will find Maclean a very friendly town and very proud of its Scottish Heritage. The town has a population of only 3,254, which swells to around 6,500 over the Easter weekend, when people flock to the town to attend the annual Highland Games.

| ABOUT THE CLUB |
Clarence Valley Seniors Computer Club ( CVSCC ) acknowledges the valued assistance given by the Clarence Valley Council by providing quality facilities for the Club's Computer activities.
The aim of the CVSCC is to create an environment that will encourage senior members of the community to share information so as they may acquire knowledge and skills in the use of computers for recreation activities and enable communication for social or commercial purposes.
The Club's objectives are to: Promote the use of computers for seniors.
Encourage seniors to communicate via computers
Encourage seniors to create recreation activities using computers
Acquire accommodation and equipment suitable for training, meeting and social activities.
Assist in the training of seniors in the use of computers.
Assist in providing social interaction for membership.
Cooperate with similar clubs within Australia.
Management Committee meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at the Clarence Valley Council Meeting rooms at 2pm. Members are welcome to attend meetings and observe. |
